In addition to chiropractic care, our office offers therapeutic massage.

Massage therapy is an excellent way to care for the health of your body. Stacey has been with our office for 9 years. She specializes in many techniques (just like our doctors) to help with a wide variety of conditions.

She is also the 2024 winner of Best Massage Therapist of Geneva Lakes!!

It all began with a foot massage and divine intervention.

Before I became a massage therapist, I was working as a burnt-out retirement plan accountant that desperately needed a change, but had no idea what to do about it. In 2007, my family and I went on a vacation to celebrate my grandparents’ 75th anniversary. While on vacation, my mother was having a lot of trouble with her feet. One day while sitting by the pool she asked me to rub her feet. After rubbing her feet, she casually said “you should be a massage therapist”. Other family members said the same thing all week as they asked for foot and hand rubs! I didn’t think anything of it. Becoming a massage therapist was not on my radar as a new career.

When we arrived home, waiting in my mailbox was an invitation to an open house at the East West Healing Arts Institute for their massage program (insert divine intervention here!). I decided to go and fell in love with the school and the program; I enrolled as a part time student. Three years later, I graduated with an extended degree in Eastern and Western Massage Therapies, which included acupressure training and Chinese medicine integration. A couple of months later, I passed my state and national exams and became a Licensed Massage Therapist and Bodywork.

Through the years I have continued to expand my knowledge and skills to include several additional techniques. I am licensed in vibrational sound therapy, certified in Graston, raindrop therapy, cupping, kinesiology taping and am currently working on adding a license as a Zero Balancing Practitioner.

What does all this mean for you? It means that when you book a massage with me you will receive an Integrated Therapeutic Massage that combines various techniques to focus on your individual needs. Since 2016, I have proudly been a part of the Excel Family Chiropractic family and enjoy working closely with Dr Brown and Dr Hervat in designing a plan for your overall success.
